Eligibility
You would have been informed by your school psychologist that your child has a Learning Difficulty (known as an Intellectual Disability) and a Cognitive Assessment would have been carried out. This assessment shows that they require extra support for their learning, and this is best carried out by an Education Support Centre.
Alternatively your child may qualify for enrolment if they:
Have Autism [an ASD] diagnosis with additional documentation from the school/psychologist outlining a High Educational Need.
Have a physical disability that restricts their ability to maintain a fulltime timetable or ability to access mainstream schooling.
Have a Severe Mental Health Diagnosis [SMD] that impairs their ability to access curriculum in a mainstream school.
